Sponsorship Opportunities

Cafés are a great event to attend to be “in the know” about various community happenings and projects. They are held six times during the year on the second Thursday of a month from 7:30-9:00 am. Typically January and March are Virtual Cafés on Zoom due to the unpredictability of the weather. The remaining cafés are held at a sponsoring Chamber member location with breakfast provided.

We are currently seeking Chamber members to either be a host location or sponsor the breakfast for a Chamber Café in 2024-2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to highlight upcoming events, specials, or fundraisers they are doing. You can get your business in the spotlight for a brief time in front of many community members and businesses! You will get up to three minutes of speaking time to a captive audience to share your message.

The BoBB event is typically on the Saturday before the Super Bowl each year at Northern Aire Lanes. This is a great Chamber business event for team building and just having fun. Tons of prizes are given away during each of the bowling team times.

Members can sponsor a team of four players, sponsor the event with a banner and/or donate prizes.

Each summer the Chamber encourages shopping locally with some type of shopping incentive or punch card to shop locally and earn a chance for prizes. Chamber member businesses can choose to participate in this special promotion.

Shop, Move ‘n Groove is held typically on the second Thursday of July each year. It is usually held downtown on Lincoln Avenue or at Spies Riverfront Park. All Chamber members can host a booth space included with membership. Other businesses can also join the fun, but for a fee. Shop, Move ‘n Groove is a great community summer event with vendor booths, tons of kid’s games and activities, music, food and more!

Our annual golf event is held traditionally on the third Friday of August each year at Pebble Lake Golf Club. You can choose to sponsor a golf team, sponsor a hole (need not be present), sponsor a teebox (be present on the golf course), or be the party cart sponsor (raffled off to a lucky business). Whatever you choose, this event is a ton of fun and your business team will have a blast!

Dinner is held in the clubhouse at the end of the event with a ton of prizes given away!

Annually in the fall, the Chamber collaborates with the Fergus Falls High School to host this event. Colleges and businesses can host a tradeshow booth to share information about themselves with more than 1,000 area high school students. Local businesses can also choose to be a tour stop for students to see their place of business firsthand.

The Chamber encourages holiday shopping within Fergus Falls at member businesses by having a punch card or other type of promotion for holiday shopping. A variety of prizes are given away for winners drawn at the end of the promotion period. This gets everyone into the holiday shopping spirit!

This event is usually held in early December. It is a gathering open to Chamber business members to get in the holiday spirit. Some type of entertainment is included and a meal and/or heavy appetizers. It is a great holiday celebration event.

In 2023, we took this event ‘on the road’ with a mobile Merry Mix & Mingle tour to a few different establishments, transportation provided by deluxe motorcoach so we can travel as a group.
